History

Green Valley was born out of necessity 54 years ago when a small group of very motivated parents decided it was time their children were given the opportunity to earn a paycheck, just like their peers. In 1968 the Dodge County Sheltered Workshop opened its doors on a tiny side street in the heart of Beaver Dam.

Since then, Green Valley has grown into a multi-faceted human service agency that provides solutions to over 400 families throughout Dodge County. A diverse 12-member Board of Directors oversees an agency budget of over 3.2 million dollars. Green Valley employs over 50 full-time and 25 part-time staff and is proud to provide the following programs and services.
